The browser storage Metadata Remover uses and how you can control it
2026/10/02
Metadata Remover does not currently use advertising or analytics trackers. It stores a few small preferences in your browser, such as whether you dismissed the storage notice and which display theme you chose. These preferences never contain your images.
A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to keep. Browsers also provide local storage, which serves a similar purpose but is not sent with every web request. This notice covers both technologies.
These items do not include your selected images, extracted metadata, or cleaned files.
As of the date shown above, the public site does not enable analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. If that changes, this notice will identify the service and purpose, and the site will request a choice before using non-essential storage where required.
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing site data removes saved preferences and may cause the storage notice to appear again. Blocking these preferences should not prevent the image-cleaning tool from processing files locally.
Your browser's help pages explain how to manage site data for a specific website.
This notice may change when the site's storage practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
